True Blood's Vampire Chic

Between the Twilight phenomenon and HBO's big hit, True Blood, vampires are taking the world by storm. And while the nocturnal creatures might prefer a femoral artery to a piece of fine jewelry, the actors that portray them know how to bring the sparkle to the (appropriately) blood red carpet.

Series star, Anna Paquin (aka: Sookie Stackhouse), paired black dangle earrings with her flirty navy dress - an uncommon color combination yet one that fashion hounds always applaud. Co-star, Rutina Wesley, might be all sass on the show, but she showed a serious glam side as she paired diamond teardrop earrings with her shiny metallic ensemble.

Vampire Bill's sultry maker, Mariana Klaveno, wore a stunning layered green gemstone necklace, and understated glamour ruled the day on guests, Carrie Preston, Michelle Forbes and Anna Camp, who all added just a hint of shimmer on the ears instead of an oversized jewelry statement - a refreshing change. in our opinion.

And while Entourage star, Perrey Reeves, did go big with oversized yellow gold medallion earrings, we think Aisha Hind's roach clip earring choice and Debra Ann Woll's wimpy pendant kindof - for lack of a better word - suck.
