Earrings Shine at the AMAs

Dangles, clusters, studs, hoops - every earring category imaginable was on display at the 2009 American Music Awards. Who wore your favorite jewelry look?

Nicole Kidman in ornate hoops, Alicia Keys in diamond clusters, Lady Gaga in, ummmm, a dinosaur rib cage? No matter what your taste, the music world brought out the earring bling in all manner of shapes and sizes for the 2009 American Music Awards last night.

Dangle Divas included Kelly Clarkson, V's new star, Morena Baccarin and a stunning Shakira in yellow Versace.

Reba McEntire, Nicole Kidman and Toni Braxton chose the classic hoop to light up their looks.

With metallic being the fabric of choice for both red carpet and runway looks this season, it's no wonder women are opting to make a jewelry statement just with the ears instead of the usual red carpet-ready diamond ensemble.
