Hollywood's hottest couple is putting their star power behind a new snake-inspired jewelry line. See all the slithering details.

Angelina Jolie's huge emerald earrings at the Oscars were perhaps the most talked about jewelry statement of the year, but now she's using jewelry to wow us in a different way.

Jolie and hubby, Brad Pitt created a gold and silver jewelry line called The Protector for British jeweler, Asprey, according to Women's Wear Daily. The collection is inspired by the snake, a symbol Jolie considers 'the protector' of her family.

The line includes diamond, black diamond and pave rings in addition to bracelets, earrings, men's cuff links and dress studs with prices starting at $525. All net proceeds will go to Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, an organization co-founded by Jolie in 2006 that seeks to educate children who are victims of war, conflict and natural disasters.

"These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children," Jolie said of her charity. "Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school."

The Protector line will go on sale this week in Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai. For a closer look, visit the Jewelry.com Facebook page for a photo album showing more of the collection.
