'Tis the season to pop the question in Hollywood. Check out the rash of new celebrity couples who are taking the diamond ring plunge.

Tiger Woods may be giving marriage a bad name these days, but confirmed bachelors are still dropping like flies in Hollywood.

Bad boy comedian, Russell Brand, proposed to pop star Katy Perry over the holidays, and People just published the first photo of her engagement ring bling. A non-traditional couple to be sure, Brand proposed to Katy on New Year's Eve during an elaborate candlelit dinner in Jaipur, India. The ring was reportedly hidden in a bouquet of flowers, and they sipped champagne on elephants while watching the New Year's fireworks display to celebrate. Nicely done.

On again/off again couple, Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood, are on again in a big way, with news of their engagement breaking this week. We can only imagine what kind of rock we might spot on Wood in the days to come - a black diamond perhaps? Surprise us, Marilyn!

Finally, uber-crooner Michael Buble proposed to his girlfriend, Argentinian actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, two months ago (!) - but news is only trickling out now. Buble (34) worked with Vancouver jeweler, Minichello, to present his lady love with the perfect diamond engagement ring, much like Kevin Jonas did for his nuptials.

"He designed the setting himself. He's very proud to be engaged to her," a friend told the UK's Daily Mail.

The couple met after one of Buble's concerts in Buenos Aires in November 2008, and well, the rest is celebrity diamond history.
