The 23rd annual Nickelodean Kids' Choice Awards brought out big stars, emerging names and some winning jewelry trends folks of all ages can wear this season. Before the infamous slime hit the stage (Katy Perry apparently got a face-full), young Hollywood lit up the red carpet in big-time bling, simple sparkle and a whole lotta hoop-la.

Rihanna never met a diamond she didn't like, and the ice factor was off the charts as she sparkled in stud earrings, layered diamond beads, a huge cross pendant and a series of right hand rings - all by celeb jeweler, Neil Lane.

Some stars opted for a more casual approach with simple pendants that added a hint of sparkle.

And the hoops had it in the ear department, with the spring trend hitting a high note on everyone from Rosario Dawson to Joe Jonas's latest squeeze, Demi Lovato.

And finally, while layering bangles is always a winner, the kids are now piling on right hand rings on every finger and in every shape, size and style to make a jewelry statement.
But you don't have to be under the drinking age to wear these trends. Bring out the cocktail rings from grandma's jewelry box to layer for your next girls' night out or revisit the hoop earring as not just an everyday option - but the perfect way to add sparkle to a more formal look.
In other words? The kids are alright in our book.
