Silver shimmer, small statements and lots of sequins lit up the MTV Movie Awards. Who wore your favorite look?

From Snooki to Sandra, the stars came out in full force last night to celebrate the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. And while big jewelry statements were a no-show, there were plenty of red carpet trends you can bring home to your jewelry box.

Jersey Shore chic is all about silver jewels, according to a poof-less Snooki, who MCd the red carpet in a silver metallic mini dress with matching diamond gems.

Small diamond statements added sparkle to stars like Audrina Patridge, Paris and Nicky Hilton and the evening's big performe - Cristina Aguilera.

Layered bangles remain a red carpet mainstay - and the easiest way for women to get that Hollywood look for less.

And the guys took over the big jewelry brigade with huge necklace styles like this turquoise stunner on Olympian, Shawn White.

But the biggest moment of the night came in the guise of Sandra Bullock's first public appearance since splitting from husband, Jesse James. The sequined star came out on top in a sparkling black mini, diamond studs and an accessory every woman should have: a standing ovation.
