'The Bachelorette' Brings Home The Bling

Ali Fedotwosky found love and a 3-carat diamond show-stopper during her stint as 'The Bachelorette'. But will she get to keep the ring?

Neil Lane diamond engagement rings have shined on many a Bachelorette over the years, but the ice melted for most before they could walk down the aisle. Will this time be any different? Many think Ali Fedotwosky and Roberto Martinez appear to be the real deal, but only time will tell.

In the meantime, Ali gets to wear a $50,000 Neil Lane creation featuring a 3.03 carat Asscher-cut diamond set in platinum, with 184 round brilliant cut diamonds encrusted in the band.

That's reason enough to keep the love alive.

"I wanted to make Ali's dream come true," Lane told People, who met with Fedotowsky early on to talk about ring design and see what styles "made her eyes light up."

Turns out the Martinez honed in on Lane's first choice and, says the jeweler, "was so excited to propose!"

Neil Lane's designs can be found on many a prominent ring finger, including Carrie Underwood, Ellen DeGeneres and Emily Blunt. And recently he launched a more affordable engagement ring line with Kay Jewelers.

And what of the newly engaged couple? "They were so happy!" says Lane, who spent time in Bora Bora with the couple. "They were like love birds!"
