Hollywood
legend, Elizabeth Taylor, is known for two things: collecting husbands and
collecting jewelry. So when the 78-year-old actress marries for the
9th time to talent agent, Jason Winters, later this year, you can bet
the diamonds will drip like Niagara Falls.
According to BANG Showbiz, Michael Jackson stylist Keith Holman is partnering with jeweler, Christian Tse, to create a diamond-encrusted turban worth a cool $3 million for the blushing bride.
The headpiece will have a whopping 30-carat center stone with two 40-carat yellow canary diamonds on either side. A team of twelve artists are working on the icy creation, which is being handwoven from silver and gold fabric.
Holman is also designing Taylor's wedding dress, an extravagant kaftan to match the haute couture headwear.
Winters, who is 29 years Taylor's junior, will be her eighth husband (and her ninth trip down the aisle since she married Richard Burton twice). The wedding is set to take place later this year and will be attended by around 200 guests, despite Taylor's Twitter comments to the contrary. To be continued?
