Christina Aguilera's Engagement Ring is Just What She Wants

What a girl wants, apparently, is an $114,000 engagement ring with a rather large diamond set in a diamond-encrusted white gold or platinum band.

No details were released about the size of the diamond or total carat weight, but it is known that the Christina Aguilera's ring was designed by London-based jeweler Stephen Webster, who often designs diamond jewelry for rock and pop stars.

Meanwhile, another celebrity getting engaged is Nicole Richie, who co-stars along with Paris Hilton, in the U.S. television series 'The Simple Life'.

DJ boyfriend Adam Goldstein had obviously done his homework, since the ring featured a large square-cut pink sapphire framed by small diamonds. Sapphire is September-born Richie's birthstone.
