Camilla's Engagement Ring worth a Cool $1 Million

It might look like an unattractive, old-fashioned ring to many, but the engagement ring Prince Charles gave to his fiancee Camilla Parker Bowles is nonetheless worth a cool $1 million at least.

The ring used to belong to the Queen Mother and was a present from her husband, King George VI. Some experts have valued the ring at up to $1.2 million.

The ring features a square-cut central diamond with three baguette-cut diamonds on either side of it set in platinum.

According to media reports, Camilla's wedding ring is expected to be made from a nugget of Welsh gold, in keeping with royal tradition.

The happy couple have set their wedding date for April 8.
