Chopard's Basic Instinct

When Sharon Stone starred in the movie Basic Instinct, it propelled her firmly onto the Hollywood 'A' list. Now, with Basic Instinct 2, Stone has returned to the role that made her famous, but this time she will be sparkling not just for her acting skills but from the Chopard jewelry she wears throughout the film.

As official jeweler for the film, the Swiss house adorned Stone and her partners with watches, jewelry and accessories.

Stone herself chose the numerous pieces that she wears throughout the movie, and three in particular caught her eye. Through the film she wears a Strada XXL watch in white gold set with diamonds, featuring a mother-of-pearl dial, on a black satin wristlet that was made at her request.

The actress decided that her character would always wear a thumb ring - In this case, two white-gold Ice Cube rings with diamonds, plus a diamond-encrusted ring sporting a heart-sized pink diamond at its centre. Stone also wears, what she called, "the most beautiful earrings ever seen", complete with diamonds and aquamarine drops.
