Right Hand Ring, Long Chain Necklaces Dominate Emmy's Red Carpet

In what is considered a preview of the season's fashion trends, a long line of actresses and other celebrities displayed an endless array of right-hand diamond rings, long diamond chain necklaces, diamond chandelier earrings and diamond cuffs at the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday.

The Annual Primetime Emmy Awards is the first major red carpet awards show of the season and as such leads the way as the preview of fashion to come.

One trend that shows no sign of slowing down is the diamond right-hand ring. One of the hottest rocks this year, the diamond right-hand ring graced the hands of Hollywood's most sought after celebrities: Sarah Jessica Parker, Alicia Silverstone, Sarah Wynter and Janel Maloney.

Long diamond chain necklaces channeling 1920's glamour were one of the more prominent trends favored by young Hollywood on the red carpet this evening. Sophisticates Jennifer Garner, Christina Applegate and Elisha Cuthbert wrapped themselves in seemingly endless strands of shimmering diamonds that epitomized elegance.

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' leading ladies were also seen sporting the ever-popular diamond chandelier earrings, adding a stylish statement to their ensembles. Celebrities including Jennifer Anniston, Debra Messing, Sarah Wynter, Lauren Ambrose, Cheryl Hines, Melissa Rivers, Joan Rivers and Patricia Heaton were seen glittering with grandeur.

Diamond cuff bracelets, a perennial favorite among red carpet goers, added a dose of chic to leading ladies such as: Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Anniston, Courteney Cox-Arquette and Christina Applegate.
