Montblanc Cut Anniversary Diamond

To celebrate their centenary, luxury pen makers Montblanc have taken their well-known star logo and turned it into a 43 faceted diamond. The diamonds are of DEF colors and VVS clarity.

The company is releasing limited edition anniversary items featuring the diamond. The Montblanc sport tantalum automatic watch has a screwed crown with an automatic Helium valve featuring the diamond. Limited to 100 pieces, the watches will premier on July 1
The cap of the Montblanc Meisterstuck Solitaire 1906 pen, which is limited to 1906 pieces, is crowned with the anniversary diamond.

The Montblanc diamond took eight years of research and development to create and is supplied to the company by a DTC Sightholder.

And Speaking of Diamonds - Arkansas Unveils Diamond Licensing Plate

The state of Arkansas recently unveiled its new vehicle license plate, which features a diamond. The plate, the first new standard issue license plate designed by the state in the last decade, represents the gem mines at the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro.

At the Crater of Diamonds State Park, the public can dig for diamonds. Since 1972, visitors have unearthed 25,000 diamonds at the site.
