Carlyle & Company Jewelers
Carlyle & Co. Jewelry was a high-end jewelry retailer with nearly 35 stores operating under the names Carlyle & Co. Jewelers, JE Caldwell & Co., and Park Promenade Jewelers in 10 states, mostly in the Southeast and Florida.
Founded in 1922, the chain was run by brothers and co-CEOs, John and Russell Cohen. Carlyle & Co. Jewelry was acquired in 2005 by Finlay Enterprises, the largest operator of licensed fine jewelry departments in department stores across the US.
Carlyle & Co. Jewelry prided itself on offering luxury jewelry gifts to their customers "for love, for life, for now, forever."
While Carlyle & Co is currently not open for business, at last report former co-CEO Russell Cohen was trying to buy at least some of the stores back and reopen the chain.
